The current edition of Sneed Cattle Company has been built and molded over the past 27 years. The Sneed family has been in the cattle business for nearly 50 years where our foundation started in commercial production and eventually moved to a purebred Polled Hereford herd. Our family has been involved in beef production and showing cattle since the late 50's. We have had purebred herds consisting of Polled Hereford's, Simmental's, Chianina's, Maine Anjou's and most recently Angus breeding cattle.
We have worked extensively with young people in 4-H for many years. Our entire family has either shown cattle or been very involved in using our experience to help others whom are trying to learn to improve themselves. Our true goal and pleasure is to watch the families that we help succeed in what they are trying to accomplish with their projects and herds. We have had many instances in which these young people have truly struggled in the show ring and were intimidated by other exhibitors. After offering them guidance and building their confidence we have watched them go on and be competitive at the national level. These families tend to keep trying to improve themselves and their herds long after they are out of the show ring. Most of them are now producing top quality purebred genetics within their breeds and are continuing to be tutors for many families along the way themselves.
Our true goal at Sneed Cattle Company is to supply whatever we can to fulfill the needs of our customers. We work with every level of showman and producer. Sneed Cattle Company is always in search of top quality cattle of all breeds. We buy and sell most of our cattle on order. You tell us what your needs are, whether you need good commercial feeder cattle, or a National level herd sire of any breed and we will do the best that we can to find the right individual(s) that will accomplish your goals within your herd. We are always willing to offer advice in any situation, but what you feel is important is always our first concern. We also work in all price ranges, varying with the quality level of the cattle you are wanting to purchase. We always welcome anyone wishing to merchandise good cattle to contact us and we will try to help you in contacting prospective buyers.
